We have recently changed our MIS (Management Information System) to Bromcom. This system is used to record all relevant information about children and families, including attendance, assessment data, contact details, allergies, and medical information.

Bromcom includes an additional package that allows parents to make payments, book clubs, and approve trips. These features are accessed through an app called MCAS (My Child At School).

We are planning to move fully from ParentPay to MCAS in January, but this transition will take place in stages to ensure it runs smoothly.

Our initial release of the MCAS app will include a core set of features, allowing parents to check and update personal information and contact details. Once this stage is complete, we will gradually introduce additional features and communicate these updates as they happen.

In the meantime, please continue to use ParentPay as usual.

Troubleshooting

If you haven't received an automated email inviting you to join MCAS, please check the following:

• Check your junk/spam folder for the email
• Ensure the school has your most up-to-date email address
• Important: if you have changed your email address and have yet to notify the school, you have the following options:
  • Visit the school and collect a 'change of details' form, fill this out and return it. Alternatively:
  • Email secretary@launcestonprimary.uk from your OLD email address, requesting it to be changed. If you no longer have access to your old email address, please email secretary@launcestonprimary.uk from your new account. If you email from your new account, we may be in touch to verify your identity.
